UMSL Bound Scholarship

First, Apply to UMSL

Remember, in order to be considered for the UMSL Bound Scholarship, you must apply to UMSL by November 15th of your senior year. You can apply to UMSL here, but don't forget to revisit this page to apply for the UMSL Bound Scholarship after you've been accepted to UMSL. The deadline to apply for the UMSL Bound Scholarship is January 1st. 

Second, Follow These Steps to Apply for the UMSL Bound Scholarship

  • Click the following link and follow the instructions below: 

  • Hit the button titled, “Sign in with UMSL”

    • As an UMSL Dual Enrollment student, you have been provided with an SSO and password

    • You can find your student number on any billing statement sent to you by UMSL. Otherwise, you can call 314-516-7005 to acquire your student number, which you can then use to create a new password using the link above. 

  • Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to fill out the general scholarship application for UMSL

    • Only provide accurate and relevant information on the application 

  • Carefully and thoughtfully answer the following writing prompt:

    • "In 300 - 500 words, describe how your participation in Early College Programs (Advanced Credit, Kickstart, or Dual Enrollment) has prepared you academically and personally for your first year as a full-time UMSL student.”

    • Click "Submit" to finish the application process

  • Applications will be reviewed throughout March. After this time, you will be notified if you won the award, and you must officially accept the award using the instructions provided to you.
